Took the G1 and the Lumix 7-14mm F4 wide angle lens to the Rocklea (Brisbane) Markets this Saturday. Between carrying bags, wheeling trolleys and negotiating other shoppers, I managed to shoot off a few. No special settings, just P and whatever the Dynamic Film setting would give me. Stopped down it could have been better, but considering my effort I am happy with it. I would think the lens does about as well as the Sigma 10-20mm, I like the lens a lot.
The markets are a very public place of course, I did ask the management if it was ok to take images and they said Ok, but I did not want to be too obvious. All hand held and no flash.
